Now Candice and Mauro are getting married, so she’s gone to Santa Margherita to help them celebrate. They’ve been together since ballet classes at age 3 – so I’m not sure how Mauro’s going to cope with both of them.  Actually, it’s the three of them – Caroline’s there as well!  There are more pictures here, I’m still waiting for mine, but when those three get together…. I could be waiting for a while, but they look gorgeous.

Normally the church yard in Ickham is a quiet and dignified place but, a couple of days ago, the early morning solemnity was shattered by 14 local lads as they gathered prior to their departure on a day trip to Gerberoy.  This beautiful 10th century medieval village, near Beauvais in Picardie, survived two World Wars – but we’re awaiting reports (and photographs) of this invasion.

Just in from David… 2,000 HP Outboard Semi Inflatable…  the latest drug runner toy from Europe.  This thing belted across the English Channel 3 times a week and was just a blur on the radar of the British Coast Guard.  They were so astonished by the speed of the unknown craft, they brought in a special high speed helicopter to chase it. Drugs were found on board.
